HAMMONTON - If you are a fan of sports cards, memorabilia, fantasy sports and more, then you have a new headquarters at J & J Sports Cards, located at 205 Bellevue Avenue in downtown Hammonton. The store is the latest new business to open in the downtown area. The store officially opened June 9.
The store is owned and operated by Jason Myers and Jim Appleby, who said they saw the recent renewal in the downtown area and decided they wanted to locate a store in Hammonton, which is known for its devotion to sports. It's a sports-oriented town, and we wanted to be part of the main street development, Myers said.
The store is stocked with cards, including individual cards and box sets for all sports. J & J Sports Cards also carries entertainment cards for shows like Lost and for wrestlers of the WWE. Garbage Patch Kids cards have also made a comeback and are available at the store.
Autographed memorabilia is also available, along with cards that featured cut autographs or authenticated autographs taken from another source and placed on the card. We have cut autographs from the 1930s and 1940s to the present, Appleby said.
Shelves feature box sets, including replicas of box sets from earlier years, or modern favorites like.....
